FAST Club Flying Charges        

                                     With effect 1st April 2004

 

Standard Membership: £160 per month for 1 Free hour, £85 next hour, £65 per hour thereafter.

 

Frequent Flyer Membership: £205 per month for 2 Free hours, £55 per hour thereafter..

 

Hire Rates for Temporary Non-subscribing Members: £ 125 per hour subject to the terms below.

The FAST Club flying day at Exeter is divided into three slots:-

In winter time the weekend evening slot disappears due to the earlier airfield closing.

 

Flying Charges

 

Each booking slot will be charged at a minimum of one hour of flying time subject to:- 

 

        One full day booking (3 Slots) – a minimum of 1.5 hours will be charged.

 

        For two or more days – the actual flying time provided the hours flown equal the days away.

         i.e.   for four days away a minimum of four hours will be charged.

 

Landing Charges

 

The Exeter Airport invoiced charge for a single TB 20 landing is £32.00.   By buying in bulk the FAST Club obtains a discount. Thus Full Member landing charges at Exeter are £6.00 per landing for singles landing within normal airfield operating hours.  For Temporary Members the charge per landing is £12.00.

 

For landings away from Exeter or after hours at Exeter each pilot is responsible for his own landing charges.  Any charges not settled when landing away or late and which are billed to the FAST Club will be recoverable from the member concerned together with a £25.00 handling charge

 

The published Exeter charges for landing after hours is £94.00 per hour or part hour after closing time. Each member will be responsible for any late charges incurred.  However, if warned in advance, I can usually negotiate with the Airfield authorities a reduction to £30.00 per hour.  Retrospectively this is difficult but it can be done if a Member has been caught out by bad weather.

 

Equipment

 

Headsets, survival suits, life-raft, life-jackets and ELT may be hired at £4.00 per item per day.
